Our upgrading and modification work ranges from new control systems to the design and fit out of lift car interiors. Electra Lift also implements safety items to bring your lift equipment into compliance with current regulations. Electra Lift's design, development and implementation of programmable logic control systems have provided our Sydney and Canberra clientele with an affordable method of producing a more reliable and efficient lift service. Our PLCs are highly adaptive to suit your specific needs, often used to overcome elevator design shortcomings of current systems, both old and new. The results are enhanced lift performance in quality of ride, function, safety and reliability.

Upgrading the controller for your lifts is one of the key modernization tasks that we perform for our customers. In fact we even developed our own controller to meet the Sydney and ACT market's requirements. The 3000 series controller was developed by Electra Lift Company and is presently serving Sydney and Canberra based customers with a reliable and efficient vertical transport system. Controllers are manufactured at our factory by our qualified technicians with software written by Electra Lift engineers. Main logic functions are processed by the PLC, which is interfaced on selected outputs to high speed relays with higher current and voltage circuits controlled by contactors.

Samples of our Modernisation work

This machine was installed in the 1930’s and has been shut down for more than 20 years. We have now refurbished it and placed it back into operation.
